My Mission

Dr. John is known to his patients and the staff he works with as genuinely caring about people. He is the type of clinician who wants to really get to know you and your needs. The combination of being personable and his love for dentistry is what sets him apart from other dental healthcare professionals.

Education

Dr. John attended St. John's University on several scholarships and received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Theology, graduating Cum Laude. Throughout his collegiate years, he was very active on campus as President of the Coptic Society, an Egyptian Orthodox Christian Club that was heavily involved in community outreach programs focusing on homelessness. Often, this club would partner with the Midnight Run, an organization with the mission statement of, "to forge a bond between housed and homeless people by establishing a foundation of sharing and caring from which solutions may evolve"; together, these organizations provided the homeless with food, clothing and toiletries throughout New York City.

After being accepted to several dental schools, Dr. John chose to attend SUNY (State University of New York) at Buffalo, where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. During this time, he served as the Vice President of the Hispanic Dental Association. The club was involved in several services revolving around serving people in underserved areas, providing them with free dental care. Dr. John was also actively involved in Give Kids A Smile® and Smile Education Day, both programs dedicated to providing free dental care and educating children on proper hygiene, respectively. After dental school, Dr. John completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Kingsbrook Jewish Hospital, working with specialists including oral surgeons, endodontists (root canal specialists) and pediatric dentists.
